Hey, I’m Anna
My yoga journey started when I was 16 and I took my first Hot Yoga Class in Belfast. Since then yoga (particularly Hot Yoga) has been a part of my life. It has helped me when mental health got difficult and been an anchor that I could rely on when I needed support. Taking time out of the day to breath, whether it was getting away from a University deadline for a little while or a stressful day at work. Yoga has helped me find balance, in lots of ways - not just standing on one foot!
Once I finished University in London where I studied Drama and Performance I headed to Thailand for the 9 weeks of Bikram Yoga Teacher Training (in 2015) and have been teaching Hot Yoga ever since.
In 2016 I took my Kids Yoga training with YogaKidz Worldwide and started my own afterschool and weekend classes. I have also been teaching in preschools since then.
Kids Yoga is a real joy to teach, its playful and silly and gives children a chance to just be - no expectations to win or put on a play at the end, just a space they can move, breathe and rest. Something we all need more of.
I have since completed Intermediate Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and most recently Rocket Yoga Teacher Trainings. I am so enjoying bringing the fun and playfulness of Rocket yoga to people who haven’t tried it yet. IT is challenging but super addictive!
