What’s a Kids Yoga with Anna Class Like?

 

Step 1 - Big Breaths

To start we learn to breathe and a few coping strategies to help with busy minds.

Step 2 - Sun Dance

Then we move! Our Sun Dance is what grown ups call Sun Salutations.

Step 3 - Poses & Games

We have to learn the poses to play the games! Let’s balance on one leg and become as strong as a tree!

Step 4 - Yoga Story

Using our poses we tell a story, following a book to keep minds engaged. Most of the storybooks will focus on big feelings and how we can manage them.

Step 5 - Sleepy Relax

To finish we cuddle up and dream of the stars. Relaxation and affirmations finish our session so we can leave the class calm and ready for bed or the rest of the day.
